We were back on home turf for an Engagement shoot in not so sunny Tenby last weekend, well at least Doug was. Doug grew up by the coast in beautiful Pembrokeshire and needless to say this coastal shoot was right up his street. My happy childhood coastal memories are Suffolk ones as I grew up near Aldeburgh and Woodbridge. When we met Claire and Jon for the first time, Tenby was mentioned and it was decided on that warm afternoon that we would meet up in Tenby when we were next visiting our folks and they were visiting theirs for their engagement shoot. As you can tell from the shots it was very cold but Claire and Jon were great sports. The sun made an appearance for a short time but we were actually all very glad it was at least dry. You always have to be grateful for dry weather in Wales 🙂 It is always a pleasure for us when our couples feel relaxed enough in front of us to completely be themselves and are romantic without feeling silly or are prepared to just let themselves go and just have fun in front of the camera. Jon and Claire were great !
We are looking forward to their wedding later on in the year and as you can see from the sand writing shots, they also can’t wait.
Lovely photos Karen and Doug…the couple must be really pleased…I’m looking forward to seeing the photos from their wedding day later on in the year! I still keep an eye on what you’ve been up to and it’s nice to take a 5 minute break from work to admire some more of your very talented work! Mrs V x
Thanks so much Mrs V. They were so cold but great sports and are very happy with the shots. Wedding is at Anstey Hall will be fab and they are a lovely couple like yourself and Ryan.
Hope you are both well xx Karen
Lovely photos as always. Saw a programme about Tenby years ago and have always wanted to go, your photos make it look great, even in the cold! I looked at Anstey Hall as a potential wedding venue so will look forward to seeing the photos of Claire & Jon’s big day…
