We have met up with James and Rachel several times now. We photographed their wedding back in May 2011 and met up again at Sharon and Steve’s London wedding the following summer. Sharon and Steve had been guests at Rachel and James’ wedding and liked our shots. Rachel surprised us with her bump and we promised to return to London once baby Jessica could sit up for some Portrait shots. I prefer to photograph babies once they are starting to show their characters and Jessica was full of character and smiles. In fact she smiled the whole time we were there. We are not keen on Portraits with the plain white or mottled backgrounds and wanted to show Jessica in her own environment playing happily. Just natural and relaxed rather like all of our photography. I truly believe that very young children are happier being photographed in their own home with their own toys in familiar surroundings. Its amazing how with her little dress on Jessica looked like a cute little girl, almost like a toddler, despite being only eight months and then stripped down to a nappy she seemed more like a little baby. Gorgeous either way 🙂
