Matt and Tamsyn were married at Wilden church on Saturday and had their reception in a beautifully styled marquee in a field next to the family home. When I first started to chat to Tamsyn, who was living in America at the time about photography we were talking about how much I like American wedding photography and the rim lit soft images that I like to create are influenced by that style. Fast forward to their wedding day and we had overcast skies and heavy rain all day. The weather couldn’t be more British. In fact the shot that Doug took of Matt and his brother coming up the church path could just as well be in Scotland in the winter. It didn’t matter as everyone had a great time. Their party was brilliant and the marquee and bunting was so colourful it was enough to cheer up any rain clouds. I learned a couple of things at this wedding. The first was my very accurate rain app which said the rain was going to clear in the afternoon could be wrong and I also learned that true Scotsmen actually don’t wear anything under their kilts even when its a bit chilly ! I will spare you that photo ha ha.
More to come soon but for now enjoy the sneak peek.
Congratulations Matt and Tamsyn xx
