Newman Family Shoot – Howell Photography

We were let loose yesterday at a local farm Nr Biggleswade for a Portrait shoot with the Newman family. It was bitterly cold but as you can see from the shots everyone was in good spirits. Jenni contacted me and asked if I would create some pictures of her and her brothers as a surprise gift for her Mums 50th birthday next month. She is a lucky lady to have such a thoughtful family who would go to all of this trouble and brave the cold to create such a special gift. We had lots of backdrops to choose from at the farm and I decided to go with what suited their age group and personalities. Although I created a variety of images for Jenni and her brothers to choose from it was these light hearted ones that I liked as they so captured their personalities and the fun we had. Despite the cold they really enjoyed the shoot. Later Jenni supplied me with a pic of her Mum and I have had a little fun with it on the newspaper shot. The final image was a re creation of her Mums favourite image from when they were tiny. A special thanks goes to the good people at Franklins farm for allowing us to interrupt their Sunday morning. I never realised farmers worked so hard. Franklins supply quality meats fresh from the farm to the local community and also from their website www.franklinsfarm.co.uk The meat is excellent and if you haven’t ordered your turkey yet for Christmas I can recommend their meats as we have tried them ourselves. They have a shop on the farm open to the public. Check out their website for opening hours.
