FOREST LODGE WEDDING – PART 1

We had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful woodland wedding recently. We knew the families having already shot Emma, the Brides sisters wedding. We arrived at the homes where the Bride and Groom were starting off their getting ready. Doug visited the boys and got to meet gorgeous Mousse. What a lovely dog he is. I hung out with the girls while Emma, Rachel’s sister, did a fantastic job of all the girls make up. She also did Rachels make up which was a lovely moment to capture. We all then met up at Forest Lodge in Thetford Forest where the couple had decided to see each other before the ceremony. We all had lunch together, thank you to Rachels parents for their generous hospitality. The getting ready continued in the bell tents followed by a First Look and a walk with Mousse. It was very romantic to capture and Jon and Rachel were relaxed enough to ignore us and just enjoy their moment. I don’t think Jon could take in just how beautiful Rachel looked. The ceremony followed and again it was so very relaxed. Bex the Celebrant carried out the ceremony which involved chocolate and fun. The guests were served bubbly throughout which meant they also relaxed pretty quickly :). I have to give Bex’s shoes a shout out. I looked down and spotted them and learned that the LO – VE hearts were clip on. Must get some of those. Come back for part two in the next few days ……………
