Wilobe Farm Wedding Photography – Alex & Emma – Wilobe Farm Barn wedding – Howell Photography

We really loved the relaxed vibe of Emma and Alex’s Cambridgeshire Wedding. When we met up for a client meet it became clear very quickly that these two are very chilled and they wanted their wedding to reflect them. They both have serious careers being Doctor and Nurse and it was important that they could just celebrate with friends and family and be themselves. I really liked Emma’s choice of veil and headband. Emma chose to have a shorter dress which really suited her and meant that she could feel free and not have to worry about farmyard mud. The yellow wellies looked great with the dress later on in the afternoon. The girls did their own make up and Emma’s sister drove them to the church in Emma’s little blue Corsa. When I saw them recently to discuss albums the “Just married” writing was still just about on there. They told me that they drove to the airport for their honeymoon and left the car for a couple of weeks and it was still there when they came back. You don”t get that treat with a hired wedding car ! You don’t ever really know what weather will greet you for a March wedding but although it was bitterly cold and windy it did stay dry. The yellow flowers in the barn really cheered up the overcast weather as did the infectious smiles. Wilobe farm barn was dressed in yellow bunting and more pretty spring flowers. The tables were named after their favourite board games and each game was also in the centre of each table. The wedding cake was based on a board game and made by a family friend. I am always amazed at the sheer talent out there among friends and family. Ceilidh dancing got everyone on the dance floor in the evening for a great party. Here are a few pictures of this lovely day.

Best wishes Alex and Emma.
