Mini Shoots in your home or a nearby location
You don't want loads, just a few good ones. Mini shoots are carried out in an hour, Out and about locally or without you leaving the house. "Oh no that's not good" I hear you cry !!!! my house isn't like it dropped off a magazine page. Honestly, Don't worry about that. I often turn up to family chaos. I am looking for good light and friendly faces. This shoot is ideal for new additions. I will stay for an hour and you will be amazed at what I can produce. I need a little space on the floor or a bed or a sofa or all three. family shots can be carried out in your home or we can visit a park or grassy area and get you some great shots out in the wild. I love capturing and freezing the wonder of childhood and always aim to make the shoot a game or an adventure, sitting still is so over rated don't you think ? i just love the carefree joy that children radiate. I keep it all stress free and fun. The shoot will seem more of a game to them. It is important to me when capturing families or siblings that it is obvious that the group of people on the picture belong together and the love and closeness is reflected in the image.
In this fuller session we have the time to capture a story of you interacting as a family that is unique to you. We can shoot inside your home or meet out on location.or both. does your family love dancing in the kitchen, a day at the beach or a longer walk with the dog ? We provide every shot we are happy with rather then you having to choose.

New baby shoots or family shoots are lovely to have and a very thoughtful gift. Imagine giving a voucher as a gift to new parents. They will be thrilled and the photos will last a lifetime. They can choose how they would like the shoot, just the baby or perhaps the siblings or a mix. Why should I have a Portrait shoot
There are not always many opportunities to get you all on a photograph together as often one of the family will be behind a camera or phone and its usually the same person. Having a proffesional portrait shoot will provide you with those fantastic memories and good quality professional images for you to pass down as heirlooms or make fab art for the walls. I will work with you on a shoot to get the look you want and then edit them in an editorial style.
what age is best for a baby shoot
Don't wait too long, babies are not babies for long. Some couples want them as soon as possible so that they can send out announcement cards or siblings can help cradle the baby. Others wait until the baby is able to sit up. I have some families who come to me every year or two for an ongoing record. I always offer a discount for returning clients.
Where do the shoots take place
We would advise you choose somewhere you like to go as a family. A woodland walk or beach, somewhere you feel totally relaxed. We can also carry out shoots in your home which we can combine with outside shots to get two different looks. If you have a young baby we can carry out the whole shoot in your home.
What if there are more than the promised amount of images that i want.
If you are having a mini shoot you can purchase any further shots at £15 each and we will prepare these along with your initial fifteen shots as a digital download. On a full story shoot there is no worry about having to choose as you will receive all the shots.
