We were back in Cambridge yesterday with the very lovely Louise and Alex. Although the sun did not quite come through, it still turned out to be a very pleasant spring afternoon. The cheery daffodils were out all over the city and the backs were beautiful as always. Alex and Louise met when they were both at University in the city and it felt right to celebrate their engagement in a place that is special to them. They really threw themselves into the shoot and it was lovely to receive a message from them this morning to thank us and tell us how much they enjoyed themselves. The punting was brilliant, even Louise had a go and I think you will agree she looks fabulous in a straw boater. Many thanks also to Colin from Scudamore’s for his expert chauffeuring and bags of patience. Not easy to turn a punt around when there are lots more because the photographer spotted the perfect light under the bridge or tree. Look out for the appearance of the pink heart bunting during the year which Louise had great fun with! We will reveal all about that later. For now enjoy the pictures.
Loving the relaxed vibe you’ve captured between them, especially in the boat – and loving the bunting too…can’t wait to see more of that at their wedding! 🙂 x
