Barnsdale Hall Wedding – Nathan & Mandy – 17/09/11

Mandy and Nathan, like so many of our couples, asked us to capture their wedding day in a relaxed and unobtrusive style. They chose Barnsdale Hall in Rutland for their venue which meant that the getting ready, marriage and reception was all under one roof. They asked for very little posing and we were more than happy to oblige. There was a nautical theme running throughout the day as Nathan is a Naval Officer. Naturally, Nathan wanted to include some military traditions such as the arch of swords which was very impressive as it was so rehearsed and disciplined. As you can imagine the non military guests really loved the touches as much as we enjoyed photographing them. The couple also asked us for a lot of detail shots which again we were pleased to provide. Mandy loves the shoe shots that we often create and I was absolutely delighted to find that she had my favourite bridal shoes waiting for me. We also had six wonderful bridesmaids and a very cute little flower girl who not only posed for our cameras but for everyone else’s as well. Thank you to Matt at Barnsdale Hall for keeping everything running smoothly, for the best men and other military friends for being so helpful. I would also like to give a special thanks to all of the bridesmaids for being absolute stars all day.
