Leanne and Tim were married in Godmanchester on Saturday and we were delighted to be asked to photograph their wedding day. The weather didn’t want to play ball, but despite the strong winds and rain everything went to plan and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the day. This was a family wedding and it was so lovely to see the pride in the faces of Parents, Grandparents and of course Great Grandparents . We had already captured little Ruby’s Christening last year and it was lovely to see she was walking in time for the wedding and made the cutest flower girl ever. The getting ready was adorable 🙂 as we all had to sing the ‘ wheels on the bus ‘ to distract her as Leanne clipped flowers into her hair.
Leanne looked stunning and I loved everything she had chosen. The very gorgeous Bridesmaids wore chocolate coloured dresses which were set off by cute little fur shrugs. Ruby wore the sweetest little dress and she also had a fur shrug. The plan was for Leanne to walk down the aisle with her Mum and Ruby but as soon as Ruby saw Tim waiting at the top of the aisle she was off running and waving much to the delight of the congregation. It turned out that Ruby was the wedding entertainer for much of the day and was still going strong on the dance floor into the evening in her PJ’ s.
