Tofte Manor is a wonderful venue for a wedding large or small. Doug and I really did enjoy the tranquil setting as we went about cheerfully capturing our shots. It really is impossible not to feel relaxed. Although the venue is beautiful without any dressing, Jo went about adding her own touches. When we met up at the initial client meet Jo asked me to capture lots of details for her and was happy to just let us decide what to capture to put our own stamp on the day. During the Portrait shoot I suggested that they have a shot in the middle of the Labyrinth as I wanted them to feel the benefits other than just visually. The labyrinth is a symbol of the union of marriage, the intertwining of opposites, male and female, in their quest for love, harmony and balance. You can actually have a marriage blessing at the Labyrinth but I asked them to cross it together and make a wish in the middle.
