I am calling this one Amy and Ryan’s Festival Wedding. Okay, I know its all about the getting married and believe me, it was a beautiful wedding and Amy looked Fab and Ryan cried but I wanted to blog something a little different and this one was full of detail and you all know how much I love shooting detail. So, please excuse me if I miss the important bit (getting married) and be a little self indulgent. It has always been my dream to shoot for Country Living Magazine and not only was this a real country wedding being that it was actually on Amy’s Dads Farm but when I arrived I actually thought a stylist from the magazine had been drafted in. The styling was very soft and pretty inside the marquee with country roses, pink and blue pom poms, vintage china, pearls and suitcases. Everything was created by Amy with a little help from family and friends, but all her ideas. We also had a VW Campervan, a Morris minor and Ryan’s little red mini around for photos and travel to and from the church. The festival vibe came from the cool signs, hay bales, games for the kids, a space hopper race, so loads for us to capture. In the evening, once again the marquee looked like it was set up by a professional company with fab lights and dry ice. Any photographer would have been over the moon to shoot this one and we felt very honoured that Amy and Ryan chose us.
Best wishes for the future and Amy you should really be doing this for your day job 🙂 Keep watching the blog for more tips from Amy.
