I have been on a little stroll this afternoon down memory lane. What a fab year ! We have shot weddings all over the country at different venues some in the country and some in the city, different faiths and nationalities, different colour schemes, different styling, hotels, churches, farms and barns. They all have two very special things in common which is of course family and love. Whatever the wedding they all start off with the fab bridal prep and all the anticipation and excitement that goes with it. It builds from there and as the dresses go on and the bride picks up her bouquet and heads off to meet her husband to be the excitement has by now built to a crescendo. Dads, Mums, sisters and friends are usually tearful by now and the atmosphere electric. Then there is the moment after a few deep breaths, the music starts and a nervous groom waits while his beautiful wife to be walks slowly towards him. After the ceremony the newly wed couple are off down the aisle and out the doors and the celebrating and congratulations begin building into a wonderful party. We never take it for granted that we are there at these most personal moments capturing the emotions, be it tears or laughter, nerves or excitement. What a huge honour to be there at the very beginning of the day with your friends and family. Thank you to all our couples and their families who have welcomed us to be part of their day.
I have chosen at random a selection of shots which for various reasons I particularly like. I could have gone on and on but made a decision to choose little moments or just pictures I liked. If I haven’t included shots that you particularly liked please don’t think we didn’t enjoy your wedding. We enjoyed photographing every single wedding we shot this year. There is only so much room on the blog! We thank you all.
We are looking forward to a very busy 2013 and once again have a diversity of weddings to bring you, from beach weddings, barn weddings and churches all around the country. Can’t wait to start again. Happy New Year 🙂
