Another close family wedding for you today. Claire and Jon were married at Fulbourn church and held their reception at nearby Anstey Hall. Once again we were made very welcome and felt like part of the family within the first half an hour. Its a small world. One of the guests lives in the same tiny village in Wales as Doug’s parents and Claire’s parents have a place nearby as well. If you knew how tiny these welsh villages are you would understand why its a small world. I loved Claire’s dress which was in two pieces with a little lace top to cover her shoulders in the church giving her two looks. All the bridesmaids had their hair plaited in different ways as did Claire. This look is becoming really popular for wedding hair and it always looks fab. Still smart but with a little touch of boho. The bridesmaids chose their dresses themselves and all agreed on the indigo blue dresses from Toast. Claire chose lovely bright Jewell colours for the flowers and table decor that not only delighted my camera but also the vicar. Unusually Claire and Jon went back to the family home after getting married with just myself and the chauffeur. The plan was to have some photos in the garden while all the guests went on to Anstey Hall. We took a set of pictures and halfway through the heavens opened. We decided on another little shoot at Anstey hall in the evening. I love the bright red door and the peeling wood panels.
Best wishes to you all and a further thank you to the bridesmaids and ushers who were outstanding.
