Howell Photography – Bedfordshire Wedding Part 1

Doug and I shot this wedding before covid. I realised we had only blogged a preview and had never blogged these happy images on what was the most rainy wedding we had ever shot. It was raining before we even left home and it continued all day long and into the evening. It was ironic really because Tamsyn’s Dad is an umbrella manufacturer ! Matt and Tamsyn didn’t worry at all and were determined to just enjoy and celebrate. Tamsyn and Matt first contacted me when in America and flew in to meet us. We knew they would be fun but we had no idea quite what a party they would have. It was fabulous. There was so much love and goodwill and we wanted to capture the goodwill and spirit of the day through our images rain or no rain. The wedding was held in a small Bedfordshire church followed by a private marquee in Tamsyn’s parents field. Tamsyn got ready with her bridesmaids Mum and Brothers and Doug popped to the local pub to capture Matt and Tamsyn’s many friends. In fact the pub was packed with all the wedding guests. Come back soon for the fab party to follow in part 2.
