It is always nice when you get a call from clients who have got to know about you from other weddings. Sharon contacted me earlier in the year to ask if we might be free for her wedding day. She had seen our work last year when we photographed their friends wedding (James and Rachel at Columbine Hall, Suffolk) as she and Steve were guests. She liked the shots we created for them which were informal and taken with very little fuss, something which was also important to Sharon and Steve. They wanted to just get on and enjoy their day but more importantly they generously wanted their friends and families to enjoy the day without photos and group shots dominating the proceedings. Therefore we had very few posed shots which we didn’t mind at all and no getting ready shots.
We arrived thirty minutes before their church wedding at St Lawrence Jewry right in the city. It was the first time for us to photograph at this particular church and I hope its not the last as it is absolutely stunning inside. The shots we took were a little different to our usual church shots as we were only allowed to photograph from the back in the centre. Thank goodness for long lenses! Doug captured a wonderful moment as Steve looked at Sharon walking up the aisle. The look on his face was priceless. The guests were treated to a bus ride to the venue at Skinners Hall. This is the most beautiful Grade One listed building. Absolutely fantastic it really is a grand country house in the middle of the city. I do hope we get to photograph there again some time as there were endless possibilities.
Sharon and Steve many congratulations and also congratulations to James and Rachel and bump. Do keep us posted 🙂

These sample shots of our wedding are fantastic. Really love the church pictures with the wide angle lens and the way you have captured the light. Can’t wait to see the remainder !! Many thanks again. It really works with having both of you there and your approach to the day. We would highly recommend you to others.
