South Farm Wedding Photography – Louise & Charlie

We were back at South Farm on Friday for the beautiful wedding of Charlie and Louise. If you follow my blog you may remember that the couple were back in England for just a few weeks to get married. In a few days they will be heading back to their homeland which is now Madagascar.  Every time we return to South Farm it looks different depending on how it has been styled. I have to be honest and say that we didn’t expect hardly any styling at all due to the fact that they flew in and will fly out again in such a short time. You can’t imagine how delighted I was to see the gorgeous country vintage styling that greeted us when we arrived. Louise and her bridesmaids had made metres upon metres of botanical inspired bunting which not only adorned the barn but also the old dairy and the gazebo and if that wasn’t enough there was enough for the trees outside as well. Nature was the theme of the day and it carried on throughout. Louise had made her own table plan using a vintage mirror and the tables were adorned with fresh country flowers, some from the hedgerows, all in vintage miss matched vases again sourced from junk shops and eBay. We really loved the little cars made completely from recycled tin and for the ladies little jars of Madagascan honey with lace covers again all handmade by Louise. Louise sourced her fifties vintage dress from Abigail’s Vintage Bride and it suited her so well I cant imagine her wearing anything else. It was all perfect. The Bridesmaids who were great fun and so helpful (thank you Girls) all wore fifties style vintage dresses covered with little strawberries. They were lovely to twirl in especially on the dance floor later but you do have to be careful if you pass by any fans or you may recreate a Marlyn Monroe moment as the lovely Bebe found out he he 🙂  Louise surprised the girls with little tiny silver earrings in the shape of strawberries which was a lovely touch. All they needed was some lovely English sunshine and a string quartet to complete the scene which of course they had 🙂  The wedding was really beautiful and their guests thoroughly enjoyed the day including Charlies amazing 101 year young Grandfather who assures me he will be checking out my blog the next time he surfs the internet. Yes you did read that right. How amazing !
